"I found this place on Yelp and now I will correct some misinformation. Violet Hour is not worth the money.\n\nI've never heard of paying $180 for a regular manicure and a regular pedicure.\n\nRegular polish.\n\nI cannot get over that.\n\nIt doesn't matter that they used the best products in the world to massage my feet.\n\nThey told me that a regular nail place wouldn't massage my feet the way they do and that's why they cost more.\n\nLet me tell you. I got my nails done at my salon at home (in Chicagoland) and it cost $25 (for just a manicure before tip) and they massaged my hands and forearms just fine.\n\nI think $25 is an expensive manicure.\n\n$180 is nuts.\n\nWhen I called to make the appointment they asked for my credit card number in case I didn't show up. I didn't think anything of it.\n\nThey should have told me that it would cost $85 for my pedicure and $65 for the manicure and that they would include a 20% tip. They should have disclosed that.\n\nGet over yourself Violet Hour. You're not all that. I want my money back.\n\nP.S. There's a Yelp check-in offer for Champagne. They give you wine or Champagne anyway."^^ . "2015-06-11T00:00:00"^^ . "6"^^ . "45"^^ . "14"^^ . . . . "1"^^ .
