. "DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! The owner is rude and should not be in business of any kind. He plays the \"I'm a jolly and charming man with a fun accent and I make jokes to woo customers\" card, but his true color quickly came out when I called him on HIS mistake! \n\nI had jingle taps taken off of a pair of tap shoes and new taps put on I bought across the street at Capezio. Easy enough, right? I told him multiple times that I was leaving early Saturday (7am flight!) and needed it done by Friday which he agreed to and did (could tell by the language barrier he wasn't quite getting it, so I reiterated a few times this was a quick job and that I was only visiting and leaving early Sat). He also said he would call when they were ready and he DID NOT.\n\nI also told him that they could put the old taps in the boxes the new ones came in because I wanted to keep them. Well, that did NOT happen (the shoe guy just kept them for some strange reason. Why would you even do that. It's MY property!) and when I asked him to ship me the taps because I had to leave, he looked at me like I was crazy. It was HIS mistake and he said \"he didn't have the budget.\" He said I could pick it up later but that wasn't an option for me. I had already driven 30 minutes and I had work in the evening so could not get back to the store. Unbelievable. \n\nI had to drive to where the taps were to get them back (mind you, I paid for a service that was NOT completed!) after my amazing BF went back in to talk with the guy. That wasn't an option when I was in there this \"business owner\" could offer?!?! This man should not be running a business. May I suggest something not dealing with the general public.\n\nTip for this business: 1. Your default should be to return the taps AT ALL TIMES. It's THEIR property! Let THEM decide whether to throw away or keep. 2. Business 101: you PAY for your mistakes! It's part of the gig when You SCREW UP. Whether it's in your budget or not."^^ . . .
