"0"^^ . "My 10yr old was having tooth pains starting Sunday so I schedule him for an appointment with his regular dentist. My husband took him and they were told he needs to see a specialist today. \n\nThey schedule us here and I can tell you immediately Jonelle (maybe I'm spelling her name wrong) at the front desk was very pleasant and understanding. She talked to my little guy and answer his million questions he had about what will happen next I thought that was nice and patient of her. I have to say the check in went very smoothly and quickly, I went into a another room and filled out everything electronically on the computer and that was it.\n\nWe saw Dr. Hamberlin. He was also very patient and understanding answering my little guys questions. My son was nervous and in pain already he was worried about needles and feeling more pain. A root canal will need to be done but they couldn't do any major work today because my son was so swollen and in pain they had to give him some antibiotics first and we will have to come back in a week. I got worried, I didn't want him in pain for a week! They reassure me the antibiotics will bring the swollen face down and help ease the pain with my continued doses of Ibprofens given to him. \n\nNeedless to say by Friday we had to come back to get his infection drained. Dr. Richardson was the available doctor to do the procedure. He knew my son was very upset by this point and in pain. He was very patient and gentle. He talked to my son throughout the procedure which was assuring for him and for me. He was also concern with how swollen my sons face was. He drained the infected area but gave me his cell phone number so I can text him with pictures and updates the next day, Saturday. \n\nSaturday, after I sent updated text and pictures to Dr. Richardson he immediately advise us to head to the emergency room, we ended up being transported by ambulance from the emergency room to Phoenix Children's Hospital. Through out this whole ordeal Dr. Richardson stayed in contact with us and with the doctors at the hospital.
