Back to one star!\n\n\nUpdated:\n\nThe owner has apologized in response to my message, explaining why he couldn't do the work in the agreed-upon time. While I believe he's sincere in his explanation, I still believe that a better-organized process at his workplace would have prevented the delay, or at least would have prompted him to call me when he realized that the work couldn't be done. This would have given me time to go to a different vendor.\n\n\nOriginal Review:\n\nSit-Well might do excellent work, but I wouldn't know because, after returning to their store to pick up my chairs on the agreed-upon date, I found that they never even started working on them.\n\nI dropped of my chair backs on the morning of the 10th to be reupholstered, explaining that we were leaving town on the 19th and needed them back by the 18th at the latest. They assured us that it would be no problem. We arrived at their store after closing time on the 18th...our fault, but not a biggie as I thought I'd just pick them up in the morning. When I got to their store today, I saw that they didn't even start working on them.\n\nI should have known better...except for charging my credit card a 50% deposit, they gave me no paperwork, receipt, or work order copy when I dropped them off. Everything seemed in chaos while I was there.\n\nI chose Sit-Well based on Yelp reviews. Although there are a good number of positive reviews, I should have paid closer attention to the negative ones...they focused on the poor customer service which was the the main problem I had with them. Like I said earlier, they might do excellent work, but I, myself, wouldn't recommend them to anyone."^^ . .
