"Before I went to this shop I read the blurb on their web site. Great promises. Well . . . the shop may have been established years ago, but I suspect that the ownership has changed hands.\n\nI should have known not to expect a wonderful hair cut from a barber shop that also replaces watch batteries and buys gold.\n\nWorst hair cut I have received since I was 17 (I do remember that one like it was yesterday and I'm now 71 years old) I don't have much to brag about in my old age, but God did bless me with an abundance of hair. I think the fellow that cut my hair was new, because he didn't seem to have much confidence in the way he plied his trade. \n\nI explained that my barber of 15 years went to the great barber shop in the sky and I was looking for a new barber. I told him exactly how I needed to have my hair cut. He grunted and replied in monosyllables. I'm not really sure he understood my instructions as I think he had a bit of a problem with the English language. He actually cut my hair twice - wrong both times.\n\nEven though I have to wait three months for my hair to (almost) grow out, I felt a bit sorry for the barber. I actually left him a tip, because he tried his best. However, he is in over his head (no pun intended). I told him he gave me a bad haircut (a few times as I remember). He and the owner had a conversation about the job, but I didn't understand a word of it as it was in a foreign language. Voices were raised.\n\nThere is nothing I can do but laugh at my modified buzz cut. It actually is a bit hilarious . . ."^^ . "4"^^ . "2013-11-08T00:00:00"^^ . . . . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . "1"^^ .
