. "0"^^ . "It's official - I have found my favorite place in Arizona for fish and chips. We came here last night with a large group for drinks before going to see a show at the Marquee Theater but my boyfriend and I snuck off to the bar area inside and ordered a bite to eat. I don't think anyone in the group really noticed we were gone. Plus, it's like 90 degrees outside so A/C sounded really nice to us...\n\nThere is a tiny TV in the corner so of course, we sat right in front of it so that my boyfriend could indulge in March Madness or whatever (He loves sports, me - not so much).\n\nAnyway, I ordered a black velvet - it is essentially Guinness with champagne. Brian got a black-and-tan, which is Guinness and harp. I felt like we were preparing for St. Patty's Day (which is today!). I enjoyed my black velvet and would order it again because I personally enjoy Guinness and champagne separately. I also used to work at a Tilted Kilt when I was in college so I would always have a snakebite and a shot after my shifts - loved my Guinness beverages.\n\nThe fish and chips were perfect! The cod was battered with the right amount of seasoning and instead of french fries, the dish is served with potato slices. Brian really enjoyed the potato slices but we wished they were a little more crispy. I wish I could give you a better description about the food but that was all we ordered. Because of the sweet tooth I have, I was eyeing up the bread pudding but we decided to leave our seats at the bar and join the rest of our group on the outside patio bar area. So I didn't get it but we will next time! Ugh, if it weren't St. Paddy's Day, we'd go tonight but I'd rather skip the bustle."^^ . "2017-03-17T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ . "0"^^ . "4"^^ . . .
