"Two companies I would have bet you a lot of money that would never get a good review form me 1) Time Warner Cable, 2) any moving company - at least I still have TWC to complain about. These guys did a great job from start to finish and I highly recommend them.\n\nI have used movers a few times in Charlotte, hopefully this is our last. Never had any awful experiences, but never a good one. Movers tend to try to upsell something when they show up - insurance or other items, not these guys. I have also always had something dinged up/broken in a move - nothing huge, but something gets a little damage and this time everything came through fine, including my doors and walls - which I really apprecaite.\n\nScheduling was easy, you get assigned a sales person - when I moved 6 months ago the company I used recommended 3 guys, Citywide thought 2 would be plenty (2 is obviously less expensive than 3) - I asked them about it again and they said they were pretty sure that would be plenty based on what we have and they were correct. Citywide finished the moved in less time with 2 guys than the other company did with 3. I would have paid for 3 but they didn't want to oversell the job, I don't see that often.\n\nThe day before the move they called to confirm, I think that is the day they run a portion of the bill on your credit card as well. The day of the move I got a call from the movers from my storage space 15 minutes before they were supposed to be there ready to go. They worked non-stop of 4 hours and asked me if it was ok to take a 5 minute break 2 hours and 45 minutes in, they obviously didn't have to ask to take a break, but I appreciate the mentality of getting it done.\n\nAll of the moving companies I talked to charged a drive time charge equal to one hour of work, so consider that when looking at your budget. The lead mover for my job's name was Shawn, I'd recommend asking for him."^^ . . "2012-01-15T00:00:00"^^ .
