"This review is taking into account the price vs quality and experience. \n\nI understand the restaurant has the old style layout and that adds character, but seeing as we had to wait 1.2 hours for our table when they told us it would be 20-25 min. Then they gave our table to someone else. We stood by the bar and drank and was constantly having to move to make way for waiters and other customers moving about the restaurant. It felt like I was in an overcrowded noisy college bar, not a fancy steakhouse. \n\nMy second issue was with the menu. I ordered the 8oz fillet mignon because it was one of the smallest portions of meat possible. They need a 6 oz portion. Also, the sides you can get with your steak are limited to Starch, starch, and more starch (baked potato, mashed potato, or french fries). Where are the brussel sprouts, asparagus, Mac and cheese, mixed veggies, etc. you have to order this type stuff as a la carte. Giving me much more than I want. To make matters even worse, they forgot to bring my side of mushrooms out with my food. We also ordered the asparagus and they were sub par. We ordered ray oysters and a few of them had sand grits in them, making them unpleasant to eat. The oyster Rockefeller were really good. \n\nOn top of this all, at the end of the meal they just took away my food, didn't even ask if I wanted it boxed to go. I had half a $70 steak left, so they essentially took $35 from me. \n\nOverall this was a $950 meal and I would say the experience wasn't worth $100."^^ . "2018-04-19T00:00:00"^^ . . . . "2"^^ .
