I needed to have the TPMS sensors moved from the old wheels to the new ones and was referred to El Rancho. The price was right - $60 to do the work - but the final result could have been better. \n\nFirst, I the tire pressures were all screwy. The truck (Tundra) calls for 33 psi on all 4 wheels. El Rancho had put around 50 psi in 3 of the tires and nearly 60 in one of the rear tires. It seems like they just eyeballed the pressure??\n\nSecond, the lug nuts were vastly overtorqued. Factory spec is 85 ft-lbs. I had to use a breaker bar to loosen and re-torque most of them. I wasn't watching when they reinstalled the wheels, but they must not have been using a torque stick with the impact gun. \n\nLastly, the wheel balancing was terrible. At 65+ mph there was a bad vibration in the steering wheel that got worse. I took the truck to Discount and had them rebalance and now they are perfect.\n\nAs a plus, the staff here is very friendly and the work was done quickly. I just wish they had paid more attention to details and did a better job on the balancing."^^ .
