So happy to have been chosen and we were excited to see this play. Loved this book as a child and growing up in a Jewish home, it has even extra meaning to me. I lost many relatives in the concentration camps and am fortunate that my great-grandma and her family were able to make it to New York when she was three years old and just before all of the mandatory gatherings of Jews in Russia and the outbreak of whole, horrible, Holocaust. \n\nWe bought the parking ticket for the Arizona Center, which was $6. We also planned our evening so we could have dinner prior to the show. We weren't really sure where we would land for dinner but ended up at the Canyon Cafe...wrote a review for it, so check it out because we had a fantastic meal! \n\nThis was our first time to the Theater. We took time to view the great display they had set up in the lobby with lots of backstory and history about Anne and her family and what they and others had to endure. Our tickets were in row H, seats 6 and 8 and there was no one sitting in the row in front of us. We love the theater...small and intimate and our seats couldn't have been better. Lots of leg room between the aisles and nice seats...my partner wished they were a bit higher because she is taller but nothing to complain about.\n\nThe set was amazing and throughout the play, the backdrop portraying a window that slowly closed throughout the scenes had it's own story as well. The actors were so good and overall the story was brought to light in such a realistic and honoring way. We both were mesmerized from beginning to end. \n\nThanks, Yelp for this great opportunity and wonderful experience!"^^ . "5"^^ . "0"^^ . .
