"I started off with spin classes before I started my yoga practice. Sso it's been years since the last time I took a spin class. I got really excited when I heard a cycle studio was coming to the LKN area. I took advantage of their free class trial during their grand opening event. Brought back good feel good energy memories so I signed up for their new member 10 class pass for $99 (expires after 3 months). It's best to sign up ahead of time. I suppose you could do a walk-in but it doesn't guarantee there will be spots left BUT every class I've been to there were a few empty bikes. You're greeted immediately once you enter through the doors. They get you checked in and match you up with a pair of their cycle shoes (does not cost extra). If you decide to use your own, their bikes are SPD compatible. Forgot to bring a water bottle, towel, hair tie? No worries! They provide those too :) There are lockers (you don't need to bring a lock) for your stuff and showers if you need to rinse after. Oh and bananas/fruit. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They will even walk you through setting up your bike properly to your size and help you get clipped in. There's always new people so don't feel intimidated! \nClasses are 50 minutes long. It's pretty chilly in there so I advise to layer and you can always take it off as you warm up. Be prepared to work all of your body. Legs definitely do the bulk of it but they will get some weights in there as well as isolations to strengthen the core. You're in control of your pace, speed, resistance levels. The instructor is there to guide and push you. Depending on the class you take, you may be able to see your class rank during and at the end of class. Your stats will also be emailed to you. I go about once a week to supplement a cardio work out in since I mainly practice yoga. Definitely give it a spin!"^^ . . "5"^^ . . "7"^^ . "2017-04-03T00:00:00"^^ . . "4"^^ . "4"^^ .
