The tools they use for taking Xrays (the ones that go in your mouth) are super old and corroded, and my teeth were nearly knocked out when the hygienist yanked the cord when she almost tripped while the tools were still in my mouth. I was then told that all my teeth were going to fall out and I had advanced gum disease, and that I needed extra cleanings (of course insurance won't cover it). Which was a surprise because I saw my previous dentist quite regularly. I left the office with the idea that I was going to need dentures at 26 and spend almost a grand on the 9 appointments they had me booked for. I also had to pay for the fluoride treatment they asked if I wanted (without letting me know it wasn't covered by insurance). \nThe moral of this story is that this office definitely employs scare tactics and tries to not only squeeze you for all the money they can but make you think you're going to die. I'm not sure if this is the norm for Scottsdale but I got a second opinion that was way more down to earth and would never refer anyone to this office in the future or go back for treatment myself.\nOnly reason for two stars instead of one is because the hygienist and dentist were nice."^^ . .
