I had been out of comics for quite a while and wanted to start buying again, so the DC Rebirth series seems like a good launching point. I travel for a living, so most of my collecting is done wherever I am at the time, but I wanted to find a shop near my (new) home in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and that meant going into Montreal. I did a little research and Crossover was the closest, if only by a little, so I went in and was greeted by the very friendly fellas that run the place. I also went to a couple of other shops, just to see if I found \"The One\". \n\nThe second visit the following week, I was greeted with \"Hey Dan!\" as soon as I walked in the door. We talked a bit while my daughter, 2 at the time, wandered around and looked at all the cool toys. While I was paying she decided, rather emphatically, that she wanted one of the gaming die that were at the counter and, now I don't remember who was working at the time, but they just reached over and gave her one. That cemented it for me. \n\nThey know I'm not going to be their biggest customer, they know I buy mostly while I'm away. They don't seem to care. I have a couple reserves there to maintain an account, and that was their idea. Now when I'm in god-knows-where, I can call up and say, \"Hey, I found everything but last week's Batgirl\" and they say \"Got it, we'll put it away for you\"\n\nMy favourite comic shop.
