Thus, I feel qualified now to offer my experiences as evidence to support my feelings.\n\nAlthough I would like to proffer an objective analysis of this company, I cannot do it. I simply cannot do this. Any experiences with this company that have been positive have been due to individuals whom, I believe, it is in their natural innate capacity and personal mandate to help others. My negative experiences outnumber the positive by x:1. My objectivity, therefore, is impaired and any such analysis is at high risk of bias.\n\nAs of today, the Wikipedia article for Air Canada states:\n\n\"By federal law (Air Canada Act), Air Canada has been obligated to keep their head office in Montreal.\"\n\nThus, it is on the basis of governmental intervention that this company persists.\n\nThere are no reasonable explanations for the consistently poor, rude service, lack of information, very high prices, poor return on air rewards programs (\"transition of your Visa card to another bank without your express permission?), extensive wait times for telephone service and people who stand around with nothing to do at an airport stating that they cannot assist you.\n\nAnd who is getting food on short haul flights????? \n\nThe reviews given on this website are only the tip of the iceberg.\n\nThis is no longer a company with service in mind. It is tyrannical management and blatant obfuscation of the populace which is allowed to persist for one reason only:\n\nIt is permitted to have very little competition. Why? Who is benefiting?\n\nI would take Skytrax with a grain of salt; there is definite bias at play here.\n\nZero stars for this company; all the stars in the universe for those who are there to help when it is needed, and not merely there to kowtow to those whose means extend beyond the norm.\n\nThank-you."^^ .
