He, too, ordered the wrong items, charged me the wrong prices and it took me months to get it all corrected. After having a horrible experience in store, I decided to shop off their web site. That has now become a 2 YEAR nightmare that has completely disrupted our life! Their holiday staff at the time was so incompetent that I would spend an hour or more on the phone with them and after hanging up, would find out nothing had been done. Customer service would complain that they were tired, they were sick, disagree with what I was ordering, etc. I spent months on the phone trying to fix my orders and fix their mistakes. Nearly every item that arrived was damaged. Many appeared to be returns that were just shipped right back out to me. I had an electrician quit my job after every light fixture ordered and reordered were broken, etc. I finally was given a RH manager who was helping but then left the company. I eventually got to another manager who is very high up and she would promise me so much and then completely ignore me. I had a huge pile of items in the entry way that were to be picked up. Even after 6 months of phone calls, emails, etc, they still were not picked up. After months and months sitting there with workers coming and going, half of the items went missing costing us thousands of dollars. I would call and email maybe 100 times or more. The manager would send me an email saying, \"oh sorry...\"I have scheduled a pick up and then would never reply to emails or phone calls again for another few months as more of the items walked away. I would call the MXD group who would say they don't have a pickup scheduled. For 2 years I have worked on my initial orders. There are still so many items that were returned but were not credited back to my cc and years of charges I need to have credited back to my account. When you return something, they don't give you a record of returned charges. You just turn over the items and hope the dollar amounts on your credit card will be correct. They never are. most importantly, they do not charge your credit card for the order, rather they will do many, many little charges which do not make sence and they all add up to WAY more than you should have initially been charged. They have had 2 years to correct this and have not. About 2 months ago I was told by a manger that she would send me a $300 gift card for the years of hassle and all of the mistakes. Have yet to receive it and when I call her extension, it goes immediately to voice mail. \nThis company is very untrustworthy and their products are not quality. They look great for staging a home. Every furniture item ordered form the children's catalog had to go back as the smell from the toxic paint and stains were harmful. A bunk bed that sat in a newly painted and carpeted bedroom for a few weeks was so toxic smelling that the smell clung to all surfaces in the room months and months after it was removed. I had to buy many 5 lb bags of Arm&Hammer and for months after spread it all over the carpets and all surfaces. Every 20 days I would have to clean all of it up and reapply. I had to keep the windows open and we didn't use that room for about a year. The dressers, etc, were the same but only stayed a few days. Scary for little children that we have a responsibility to protect! Dont order on line since you can't hold anyone to their word...even with years of emails. If you order in store, keep track of every penny they charge to your account. Mine is a nightmare that has yet to be resolved with a great deal of money still waiting to be returned. \nOh, the way I finally got the items picked up was calling the manager who strung me along for more than a year. I left her a message saying that I was going to call our local news station and share all of the emails and all of the incorrect charges and missing refunds. I immediately received a call from a different manager saying that she would assist me. I have never worked so hard and spent so much time to give a company thousands of dollars. The first year trying to fix all of this became a full time job, just as RH staff pointed out."^^ .
