. "Another steakhouse has opened in the downtown area. Like we need more with at least 3 others down here already? However, since it is Brazilian inspired I decided to check it out.\n\nI had a reservation made with open table and when I arrived at my scheduled time which was when they opened, I was told I had to wait 15 minutes because they weren't done setting up. The place had just opened for business and no one was there!\n\nHave researched the business on the web I learned that the offer free parking in the Oliver Garage after 4 on weekdays and $10.00 parking in that same garage at lunch with validation. My visit was on a Sat and on Sats and Suns they serve brunch. The brunch includes their famous \"market table\" which to me seemed like a glorified salad bar with specialty items and behind it was a hot items which consisted of your usual breakfast fare (sausages, bacon, etc,) along with Brazilian made hot items to compliment it.\n\nDuring brunch you cannot order Brazilian cuts or select cuts but if you want those meats then you would need to order the full churrasco experience. Your server would hand you a two sided card (green and red) that includes an opportunity to scratch off a code to enter online to win a trip to Brazil. Basically what happens is that servers will come to your table with long skewers of meat as long as you have the green side up and they will carve off the portion you select. Once you turn it over to red then they will stop coming to my table.\n\nI finally had a nice waitress seat me and a wonderful lady named Rebecca wait on me. She was very attentive to my needs and appreciated all the help she gave me. I had noticed on the menu that they offer mango chilean sea bass as another option during brunch. I could have it ala carte or with the market table. Learning that the fish already comes with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and caramelized bananas with a Brazilian style lady lock, I figured that would be plenty for me.\n\nShe asked if I wanted to start with jumbo shrimp cocktail as an appetizer which I declined. That appetizer is way over $20.00 and is not listed on the menu. The restaurant has a full bar and a notable wine list which I also declined.\n\nPeople have asked me \"why would I order fish in a Brazilian steakhouse?\" Simple, when you come as a group not everyone wants steak and I wanted to see for myself how their how their Brazilian style fish was.\n\nAll the tables are numbers which are for the server's convenience. Although this place appears elegant I did see a few people wearing T-shirts and jeans. I was told I had to wait 15 minutes for my food but in the meantime she started me out with Brazilian cheese filled rolls. They are gluten free and did not come with any butter. I found them bland and wasn't impressed with them.\n\nWhen I finally got my meal I found the fish moist, tender, and there were no bones. It was indeed an excellent choice. The asparagus which it sat on was cold so they promptly brought me out a replacement which was much better. The whipped potatoes came with a spoon and like she had told me, the caramelized bananas were like a dessert unto themselves. They were very good and you can get refills if you want more. The lady lock was fair but I was really impressed with the fish and the other sides.\n\nWhen I was finished she did give me a dessert menu. Desserts normally run close to $10.00 each. Rebecca recommended that I try the papaya and vanilla ice cream and they come and pour a liqueur over it since it was light. I went for it and a server poured the amount I desired over it. It is indeed light and had that melted taste to it, however, it was very good and not overly filling as I had hoped. \n\nThis place is very pricey and believe me you do get tons of meat with the churrasco experience. The market table extends on a long oval shaped ice bed with a vast selection of soups, vegetables, cheeses, charcuterie board, and some seafood to compliment your meal. \n\nTo me this place is a work in progress since they have recently opened. The decor is beautiful and very laid back. Families are welcome to eat here. Special pricing is given for children under 12.\n\nLocated in the building that once housed Saks it is conveniently located near pubic transportation. WiFi is available and they will graciously input the passcode into your mobile device."^^ . "14"^^ . "3"^^ . . "4"^^ . "15"^^ . "2018-05-05T00:00:00"^^ . .
