The new/completed theaters have new, individual recliner seats with an optional center divider so you can make a love seat out of the 2 chairs. The chairs also auto recline with a foot rest so you can get perfectly comfortable to watch your movie, a welcome comfort now that movies run 2+ hrs.\n\nIt wasn't open yet, but it looks like they are adding a MacGuffin's where you can get adult beverages and take them into the movie. I really hope they are adding a dine in option like the Biltmore AMC. AMC also added at Coca-Cola Freestyle, a soda machine with endless options. Ok not endless, but 100+ drink choices making it easy to make everyone happy.\n\nThe bad, I can get over the the dust for the remodel but the bathrooms were frankly, gross. They smelled musty, were not clean, and were far from the main theaters. The food options are lacking as well, the boy got a personal pizza because we were pressed for time before the show time and it tasted like cardboard. Another glitch is the self serve kiosk, more often than not, are not working meaning you have to stand in line to get tickets.\n\nCan't wait for them to finish the upgrades, so far so good.\n\nSide Note:\nA bad aspect of the theater (no fault of AMC, it is nothing within their control) are the patrons of this theater.\n\nParents: stop dropping your 10-12 yr old off at the theater with no supervision. I can not count how many movies I have ruined at this location by under age kids in a movie they have no business watching. \n\nPatrons: Stop treating this theater like your personal living room. Yes, people sneak food and drink into the theater, but the last movie we went to we could hear people eating dinner, with a full on dinner set, plates and silverware. You could hear them cutting their food and then the clank of the dishes when they set them on the ground after they were done. Its expensive to eat at the theater, or even at a restaurant before the movie, but it doesn't make it ok for you to bring Thanksgiving dinner to the movie.\n\nStay Classy, Ahwatukee."^^ . . "3"^^ .
