. "South beach is located at the bottom of the main shopping presint and can be accesed from Blands Cliff. Although be warned that this is steep and cobbly and yes I have fallen on my butt trying to get down here too.\n\n\n On your way down blands cliff you will see the blands cliff art gallery which is well worth a look. They also did the murial that you will see on the way down. Located down this street you will also notice accomodation shops and cafes.\n\n\n The beach itself is clean enough providing you do not sit near the railings as people tend to throw rubbish down onto the beach which spoils it for other people.\n\n\n On the beach in various points you will see the donkeys. They caost around 2 pound all though this is subject to change due to rising cost. The donkeys are well behaved and well kept and lovely for the smaller children to be taking for a little trip up the beach. The staff that tend the donkeys are helpfull and allow you to take pictures and talk to the donkeys when they are not riding children.\n\n\n Also on the beach there facilitys to get drinks and food. There are also place over the road and along the sea front to visit. There are many arcade on this route which can prove to be a bit of an expense.\n\n\n If you have time and the boats in I would recomend looking at the life boat. I know many children that are fansinated by its true size. Also they do have a little gift shop and I think the money made in here helps the keep of the boat. There is also a donation box.\n\n\n There are many gift shops scatterd about too so if you have forgotton something then there is no need to worry.\n\n\n Personally I like south bay better than North bay although south bay can get quite crowded. If you are here on holdat though a night time stroll on the beach tide permitting is lovely. My last holiday my daugter was 4 I took her down about 8 ish at night and she loved it, the beach was quite and she slept loads better."^^ . "0"^^ . . "2008-11-17T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . . "5"^^ .
