. "0"^^ . . "This is the first Sobeys I ever shopped in and will certainly be my last. The store has poor selection, staff move at one speed - slow or they cant be found and the store is so dull. I'm giving an extra star because you can get some items 24 hours a day. Some details:\n\n- Produce is not very fresh. Wrinkled, over ripe and often sold out (maybe thrown out)\n\n- Bakery products are sub-par. Crusty breads, buns and bagels are so plain and rarely fresh if your not there first thing in the morning.\n\n- Deli counter has limited selection and is painfully slow when busy. The last time I bought cold meat there it didn't last very long.\n\n- Meat / fish counter also suffers from poor product selection and you can never get someone to help. Staff are always in the back or god knows where. \n\n- Safe to say the product selection lags in all ares. Everything from Angus beef to Zucchinis\n\n- I'm never inspired to try (buy) new things which can't be good for sales. I'm always trying new products at Longo's or Loblaws. \n\n- Staff is not very helpful and often can't be found. Lines get long at the cash & food counters. Given all the competition, I'm surprised they lasted so long.\n\nThe only competitive advantage they have is store hours - open 24 hours. I stopped in late a few evenings - all produce is gone, the deli / fish / meat counters are zll closed and there is nothing fresh available. It's not really 24 hours if half the products are not available. \n\nI have not returned in at least 8 months and have no Plans to. I was disappointed one too many times.\n\nBK"^^ .
