"10"^^ . "Now that I've joined the Mom's club, I decided to give Stroller Strides a try. I had heard about Stroller Strides over the years and just figured it was a bunch of Moms casually strolling around a mall. I couldn't have been more wrong. When Baby D turned two months, I decided it was time to kick the post baby workout into full gear and so I signed up for Stroller Strides. Since it was summer, the classes had moved inside to locations around the Valley (they move to parks in the fall). I decided to give the PV mall class a try. Being a runner before pregnancy, I expected this to be a little on the relaxed end of working out, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This is baby boot camp! \n\nFitness instructors lead the classes and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Coming in as a newbie without knowing anyone in the class, I was a little nervous but the second I strolled up, Lisa (that day's instructor) welcomed me with a grin on her face. She explained the class and encouraged me to go at my own pace. \"Class is what you make of it and you make your own level of workout\" is what they tell us. The classes include running, brisk walking, strength training and circuit training. It's an hour of kicking your butt all while your baby watches (and laughs at you) in the stroller. Some parts of the class includes the stroller while others have you workout in front of it. The Moms are all very friendly and you definitely sweat off that baby weight. \n\nSince my first class, I have been going consistently for a month and a half and I love it! I recently gave the Babies R Us class a try and enjoyed the class because it included barre exercises as well. In addition to stroller strides, they also offer stroller barre classes which I'm going to try next. They also offer body back classes to get your body back into shape after baby. Whatever the class, each is a serious work out and there is nothing \"strolling\" about it. Get ready to sweat mama!"^^ . "13"^^ . . . "7"^^ . "2015-08-07T00:00:00"^^ . "5"^^ . .
