"I can only speak on the casino, as I haven't stayed at the hotel here.\n\nThe pros:\n\n- The double-deck blackjack has very favorable rules, so your money will probably last longer there. However, it's probably a card-counter trap, so if you're looking to do that, you better be spreading small, and not going from $5 to $200 like a moron.\n\n- The video poker here (as in most Station Casinos) has some of the best paytables in Vegas. They have like 14 machines of full-pay deuces wild, which is about as many as you'll find anywhere. Plus the machines are FAST. Contrast that with somewhere like Sam's Town, which used to have 6 machines, but now only have 1 (the 25c ones) and it's super slow.\n\nThe cons:\n\n- This is like, meth-head central. If you ever drive down Boulder Highway and wonder to yourself, \"Hmm, I wonder where all these shady-looking people go to gamble?\", Boulder Station is your answer.\n\n- Dear god, the cashier line is a total disaster. God help you if you just want to cash in your chips while 5 degenerates in front of you are cashing their paychecks, which takes about 5 minutes per person (as happened to me multiple times). And usually even with these lines, they only have 1 or 2 cashiers working. There IS a separate window for cashing chips, but most of the time there isn't even anyone staffing that window. Ridiculous. Probably the #1 reason I don't play more table games there."^^ . "1"^^ . "2"^^ . . . "2"^^ .
