"This review is about Jessica.\n\nI purchased a Groupon a few months ago and based on the Yelp reviews (you ALWAYS yelp before purchasing a Groupon) I had no concerns about going. Until I went, Jessica chopped, dried, and in short completely neglect my hair. Here's the story:\n\nI called for an appointment on Sunday at 4pm. No problem making the appointment, and the other stylist I spoke to was a gem. I arrive, waited 15 minutes, and then was seated. I told her I wanted to keep my hair color but touch up the roots only and to style is with more pronounced layers and shorter side bangs. Simple enough for even the newest stylist. Jessica appeared to understand my request and went to mix the color. She comes back, splashes (yes, SPLASHES) the dye onto my roots and proceeds to literally pull the color down from the top of my head to the bottom. First, I only asked for roots lady. Second, have you never heard of a brush??? A color brush for that matter, with the lovely little toothpick side that you can go through layers with. Then, she put a shower cap on my head and said wait 20 minutes. While I was waiting, she began to do the hair of another customer. So I waited... and waited... and finally after 33 minutes my head was burning and she said \"oopsie\" and washed it out as quickly as she could. No conditioner, just washed it out. \n\nAbout 5 minutes after \"washing\" out the hair dye she brushed my hair, CUT it, slapped on the hot oil treatment (after I reminded her I had the groupon), and sat me under the head thing. This entire process literally took 5 minutes. I sat there frazzled just praying that my hair wouldn't fall off. Again, wait 20 minutes. When 20 turned into 40 I asked her to please come and get this guke out of my hair. She agreed and washed it out, trimmed my bangs in one cut across, and send me on my way with wet hair. Yes, wet hair. WIth no blow dry, no \"does that work\" or \"are your bangs right,\" NOTHING. Then, as I was checking out her lovely family shows up. She bosses her 14-year-old looking daughter to run over to clean up my hair. I was so embarassed I should have grabbed the damn broom from her young hands and done it myself.\n\nAs I was checking out, she kept complaining about her boyfriend (who was 5 feet away standing next to an even younger child) and how he doesn't pay for anything, she works all day and he can't even cook dinner, etc. I sto\nod, in shock handed her my Groupon and a tip (out of pity) and left. \n\nWill I return? No. Did she do a good haircut in 5 min? NO. If I were to return and see that she had her young child cleaning up her workstation I would probably call CPS. \n1 week later I went to a well reviewed stylist within a block of my home and he was like \"what did she do to your hair??\" as he pointed out that the bottom of my hair was significantly lighter than the top and that I had no even layers. LIterally, a part of my hair on one side was 1.5 inches LONGER than the other. Ouch. And to think that all these positive reviews mean nothing when you put another customer ahead of your current one and neglect all her (minimalist) haircare needs."^^ . .
