The show succeeded in wowing us all with death-defying feats, but failed in connecting these feats in any meaningful way to the story.

I have to agree with other reviewers in that the story line for Le Rêve leaves much to be desired. Very 1 dimensional with the back n' forth between the good guy/ bad guy vying one women's love & fickle attention. At some point it felt like the story was being dragged out merely to stretch the show's time-length (probably to justify the ticket prices).

For whatever reason these tickets came at a higher cost than other, arguably better, shows we've seen... namely Mystère & Kà, both Cirque du Soleil shows selling at about half the price of this show. Perhaps due to its location at The Wynn-- one of the most extravagant casinos/ hotels on the strip!

In summary, this was an amazingly creative show, especially given the limitation of having to incorporate water into every movement, every scene, every aspect of the story. I would recommend going to see it, however, if you're looking for a great show on a budget, I'd say there are others that are equally, if not more, exciting."^^ . "0"^^ . . .
