I thought it was going to take away from the grandeur of the original architectural design and somehow  cheapen it - I am happy to say I was wrong! I like the strong angler lines created by the use of glass - the building really stands out and has a more \"worldly\" feel about it.\n\nOne of my favorite exhibits in the \"new\" ROM is the ornate reconstruction of a 17th century Chinese Imperial Palace building from Beijing's Forbidden City - it's magnificent.\n\nThe ROM also offers an array of educational and family programs just about every night of the week - a great way to learn history, understand today and meet new friends."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
