It is an intimate, sophisticated yet casual little space, the only thing of its kind on the east side of Madison.  The menu is fantastic, quirky items made from fresh, local ingredients.  The flavors are excellent.  The coffee is the best cup you can get anywhere around.  As for the staff, they seem genuinely happy and are friendly but not artificial.
