"There's nothing that disappoints me more than high hopes for a place being shattered by poor service, and bland food. \n\nMy first review of Shakespeare's expressed my extreme disappointment, about 4 months ago. \nA day or two after the review was posted, I received a private message from the management team, sincerely apologizing for the bad experience, and letting me know that the website had been updated to correct the issue that caused a good part of the snafu last time.\n\nWe had considered coming back out to try Shakespeare's again, because lets face it: many business owners could have (and would have) responded in a much more negative way. Shakespeare's however, took it as constructive criticism, and wanted to make it right. That kind of attitude goes a long way with me. The only problem was, that its SO far from where we live!\n\nWell, last night, we found ourselves heading to Shakespeare's for the \"Watching Dead\" viewing party. \n\nLet me tell you, the experience was NIGHT AND DAY. \n\nWe were greeted warmly by the manager, and by our server. We were checked on frequently. I observed the other servers, and they all seemed to be interacting positively with a very packed house. \n\nShall we talk about how amazing the food was this time? \nWe had:\n\nHoney Sriracha wings: Delicious. Tender. Spicy. Sweet. Excellent cook.\nBeer Battered Chicken Tenders: wow! The breading was incredible. Tender Juicy chicken, and not super greasy, like other places. \nFries/Chips with curry sauce: really really really nice! I love a good curry dipping sauce, and this was great. \nAngus Beef Sliders: Beef was really well seasoned, and well cooked. \nBeef and Veggie Meat Pie: A revelation. My absolute favorite dish of the night. Fella and I were splitting it, and I almost didn't let him have any!\nSausage Roll: Fella wasn't a fan (he doesn't usually care for meat in a pastry), but I devoured it. The sausage was great!\nJorge's Pub Mac n Cheese: Second favorite of the night. I'm a mac n cheese elitist. I don't like things in my mac n cheese, and I'm REALLY picky about it. This. Was. Phenomenal. I will be back JUST for this dish. Creamy mac n cheese, crispy bacon, and jalapenos (which I avoided eating whole, since I don't like a lot of spice, but the flavor of the dish...oh my goodness, this is a winner!)\nJalapeno Turkey Burger: This I didn't try, as there is avocado on it, and I'm allergic, but Fella ate it, and just raved! It was his favorite of the night, right up there with the meat pie and the mac n cheese. He said it was seasoned really really well, and was tender and delicious. \n\nI'm really glad that we gave Shakespeare's another chance. Sometimes, places just have a really off day, and it seems that this was the case here. \n\nThank you again, Shakespeare's, for the great service last night, and the amazing food. We'll be coming back again, soon."^^ . .
