Perhaps it's because of too high expectations going in again and I've been looking forward to this place for weeks before my Vegas trip. We were dirty and running late after a hike in Red Rocks and booked it across town to make it here before they close for lunch.\n\nCrispy duck in Panang curry - The duck was cooked really well and there was not a bone in site, unlike a majority of duck curries I've had in my life. The Panang curry was also quite tasty. However despite the good portion of duck, I thought $26 bucks or something was a bit overpriced.\n\nKhao soi with beef - The cheapest but actually over favorite dish of the day. Flavor of the soup was incredibly rich and complex, and I really liked the slightly chewy texture of the egg noodles.\n\nGarlic prawns - The most disappointing dish... The prawns are ginormous for sure, definitely why this dish costs nearly 30 bucks. The prawns are deshelled and both the shell and the meat are fried. The prawns themselves were very tasty though teetering on the edge of being overcooked. The shells, however, I found to be not crispy enough. They were certainly fried through and through, but I think it's a factor of the size of the prawn. When they get this big, the shells just simply get too thick and tough. To be honest, I rather have smaller prawns and a crispier shell than this.\n\nDon't get me wrong, we still had a really delicious lunch here, but I'm just mostly saddened but the dish I was looking forward the most to didn't live up to expectations."^^ .
