"I hate to give bad reviews when the interactions I've had aren't terrible, but I brought my car in with a pretty odd problem and I ended up getting it back still broken. \n\nEssentially my car wasn't starting and although the mechanics were able to get it running again, they did not know what the underlying problem was. I was really irritated that they were still going to charge me $140 for diagnosing and charging the battery even though they didn't end up successfully diagnosing. They sounded upset when I told them I don't feel that I should have to pay if the car is just going to break down again later this week. Later in the week I drove my car one time and it broke down again with the same problem. I called them to let them know and they said they'd fix it for free. They did stay true to their word and \"fixed\" it for free but never found out what was wrong with it and said the only way to fix it was to start replacing parts and see if that fixes it. I ended up going to the Chevy dealer and getting it fixed relatively quickly and painlessly but also had to pay $500 for an ignition switch replacement, so i'm truly not sure which experience was worse, paying $140 to a smaller local mechanic who wasn't sure what was wrong, or getting blasted up the butthole by the dealerships prices. \n\nAll in all, they were kind enough, but I wouldn't take my car back for anything more than an oil change."^^ .
