But, that being said, I'm going to look elsewhere next trip to the area. I booked through one of the online hotels sites and the rate was not cheap. As a matter of fact, I paid only ten dollars less here than I paid at Hilton Garden Inn in Raleigh the previous night - NO comparison. For 1/2 to 2/3 what I paid, I would not really complain. But I would put this on par with a Quality Inn or a Best Western. All-in-all, a major disappointment, especially for the price.\n\nFor starters, I was given a handicapped room which I had not requested. The major problem is no vanity in the bathroom. There is a nice large sink with a 3\"-4\" rim. But the rim slopes inward and you can't set anything on it without it sliding into the sink. Just a general PIA.\n\nThe other BIG negative was the overpowering smell of air freshener in the room. I couldn't help but to think that they were covering something up. I saw another review that mentioned the HVAC system - I experienced the same thing: The A/C wasn't all that noisy. But the unit made a great deal of noise when kicking on and off.\n\nGiven the property's close proximity to the busy interstate, my room was surprisingly quiet (the HVAC system notwithstanding). The lady who checked me in was very pleasant, also. So it wasn't a total bust.\n\nBut again, I was seriously disappointed and will NOT be staying here again."^^ . "2015-10-02T00:00:00"^^ . . "0"^^ .
