"I've been a big supporter of the Vans label since I was a teenager, so I was quite happy when I found out they had an entire store here in Toronto. I just happened to find it when I was looking for a pair of Vans shoes and the clerk at another store recommended I checked out their selection. It's been so long since I've been cruising down Yonge Street -- not the greatest location for me.\n\nThe store itself is great. It's packed with everything you need, including hoodies, jackets, sunglasses, wallets, and of course shoes. I like my clothing very basic and simple, and Vans hasn't gone off the deep end and changed their style to whatever seems to be trendy these days. I love that their clothes are still basically the same as they were back in the early 90s. Graphics and colourways are tame and classic. I was searching the city for days trying to find a new pair of sunglasses and these guys had exactly what I needed -- and they were only 15 bucks! I've since bought two more pairs because I keep losing them.\n\nThe staff here is actually quite amazing. I've only been maybe 6-7 times but each experience has been pleasant. They're very down-to-earth and helpful. The store isn't blasting Top 40 garbage like most shops in the area, and they've always got skate videos on in the background.\n\nVans is my go-to clothing store in Toronto. To the point where I need to tone it down because it looks like I'm sponsored by the company. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality is bang-on. The classic style of their clothes and the awesome staff makes Vans a 5-star no-brainer in my books. I just wish they were located further west."^^ . . .
