The restaurant is big and airy and laid out well. They can pack them in but not like sardines. The tables are nicely spaced out and for such a big place, it has charm and is comfortable. The hostess desk rocks - friendly and efficient. We had a reservation for 7pm on a Wednesday, in the summer. I can only imagine how busy it gets on a weekend in prime season...so plan ahead and make a reservation. And GPS how to get there, if you've never been or are new to the valley. Running on the frontage road near I-17, it's easy to end up on a wrong street. Then again, once you've been here once, you'll never forget how to get back. Follow your gut instincts...\n\n The prime rib looked so delicious that I had to order it (great prime rib is harder to find than you'd think). But everything I tasted was out of this world:\n\nHouse Salad (I love this kind of classic salad! For a perfect dressing - combine the dijon and herb vinaigrettes)\n\nCorn bread (ask for honey with the butter)\nPrime Rib (medium rare, naturally)\nBrisket\nMac and Cheese\nBBQ pulled chicken (I have never liked BBQ chicken before eating Bobby Q's - DELISH!)\n\nIt was a taste bud bonanza.\n\n**They were out of the Mississippi mud pie (which I am such a fan that not getting to sample theirs could plummet a rating but everything was too good for anything other than 5 stars). So we sampled the cobbler - yum.\n\nThe service was friendly, cheerful, competent and pretty much perfect. \n**I will mention that as a group of adults, our meal came a little quicker than was ideal. But Bobby Q's is popular for a reason and the service is so competent that knowing that, I will just order a little slower/staggered, when I return with adult friends. \n\nFamilies with kids - you will not have any problem feeding your kids in a timely manner. I imagine the service is perfectly paced for families.\n\nAnd as if all that isn't wonderful enough, they give you a bag of the best cinnamon dusted mini donuts to take with you!!! They are as good of donuts as Cafe du Monde serves beignets. Only problem, I couldn't eat another bite.\n\nSo diners - here's my final tip - store the bag of donuts in your fridge, overnight and then reheat in the microwave (still in the paper bag) for 30 seconds. Have with your morning coffee. You're welcome.\n\nBobby Q does everything so well that I can not wait to go back. I'll starve myself for a day or two, before I do. Go hungry. It's amazing."^^ .
