"I called the Dyson service line and after trying a few different things to get my grandmother's vacuum working again, I was referred to a Dyson Service Center in California almost an hour away. We were leaving the next day for Arizona and the representative set us up with this location in Phoenix. \n\nI brought the vacuum in expecting a large facility and at least a few hour turnaround (though I was expecting to have to come back the next day). Instead, I found a small suite with just two employees there working. I filled out a small piece of paper then Chris came out to take a look at my grandmother's machine. He ran a few tests and came back around 10 minutes later after having diagnosed the problem. This was back in July, so I'm not sure of the exact price I was quoted at, but the plug needed to be replaced and it was going to be around $100. I expected that the plug was bad and watched a couple of home repair videos on YouTube before taking the machine in. We discussed my options and I elected to try to fix it myself.\n\nChris went back to put the machine back together and soon came back out with it. To my great pleasure, Chris performed a one-time courtesy repair and I was out the door with a clean, repaired machine."^^ . . .
