"My first food truck festival experience was Saturday, and let me tell you, it was great!!\n\nMy husband (that never gets old!) and I were playing disc golf at Sunset early in the morning, and around 1:00pm, decided to walk over to curb our growing hunger.\n\nMorgan desperately wanted to try Cousins Maine Lobster, so we went there first. $14 for a lobster roll is a little steep, but man, oh man, it was worth it! Tons of lobster meat, delicious butter, tasty bread...the Connecticut Lobster roll was amazing. I was intrigued by the lobster ice cream, but they were sold out. \n\nWe stopped by Slidin Thru for me, they're an old favorite of mine, and I had my YaYa slider. not as awesome as I remembered, it was missing the tzasiki sauce, but the burger itself was seasoned well, and it tasted pretty good. \n\nThe winner of the day, however, was Stripchezze. The Daddy on a Roll was the best thing I ate all day. Deep fried mac n cheese egg rolls with a kimchi dipping sauce...I can't even begin to describe how amazing this was. Totally worth the $7, and there was a lot of food. \n\nThe setup of the event was easy to navigate, and I LOVE that it isn't an admission based event. Just walk in, and buy your food!\n\nI really can't wait to do another one! Next time I'll try some of the sweets trucks!"^^ . "2015-11-17T00:00:00"^^ . . "3"^^ .
