"Two weeks ago I entered to purchase eye glasses for myself. \nA employee took my info and asked for my personal info in middle of sales floor for my insurance coverage. No privacy. I asked to input myself. He looked surprised but I suppose confidently is not a policy they follow at this store. (It's actually policy to NOT ask out loud but I know this from prior store I shopped at LensCrafters past three years). \nAfter three attempts, the employee couldn't verify my insurance. Another employee tried. Unsuccessful. \nI called my old LensCrafters (500 miles away) they verified. \nI was told by that employee verifying my insurance would lock me and I'd have to call my insurance company to unlock if I visited another optical store. Of course the insurance company was closed on that Saturday. \nI then decided to leave and shop somewhere else. \nI found a great different chain store which respected my privacy and treated me professionally."^^ .
