. "My mother was taken to the emergency room and then admitted for surgery. The surgery went well but her recovery did not. She was moved to ICU on the second floor of the South Tower. My mother was dying and it was a stressful time for our family. All we wanted was for our immediate family to be with our mother at least one last time. There are four siblings and our 93 year old father so that would mean six of us in her room. We were stonewalled by the nursing staff, or at least a few of them and by the front desk. No more than two in the room at one time. I believe it is the heartless training of the staff who were not given the latitude to make independent judgements on each situation. My mother passed away last Monday and we never got our wish to all be together one last time. Shame on the hospital and their training staff. You've taken that away from us forever."^^ . . . "1"^^ .
