"2014-02-18T00:00:00"^^ . . "4"^^ . "2"^^ . "Thanks to Classic Honda for an excellent purchase experience. Earl -- because he is Grey inside and out -- is now happily sitting in my driveway under 5 inches of fresh snow!\n\nA few caveats since sales dynamics can be variable. I came to Classic knowing I would buy within 2-7 days. I made sure to communicate that so the associate was aware I was a serious buyer. I did not have a trade-in. I also purchased Earl mid-February during a winter that has seen bitterly cold temps since October and hills of snow (i.e. few are crazy to venture out their houses let alone to a car lot).\n\nTimely Internet Response - As part of my pre-purchase research I requested a price quote for a Crosstour because I am usually the hatchback-type (exceptional cargo space). Steve G. at Classic was the first to respond and their Internet Team followed up the system response with their own confirmation. The other Honda dealerships took longer. One dealership -- seemingly eager to get a customer from the other side of town -- gave me a price quote that was unreasonably low to be believed or was quoting a 2013 car instead of a 2014. (I cannot confirm if this was just puffery because I opted not to visit the other lot, thinking the trip a waste of time, effort, and fuel.)\n\nProfessional Showroom Associates - There was no hard sell here, which is what I look for when purchasing big ticket items. Gary G., the sales professional who helped me, was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions without being patronizing. Since it was the dead of winter, the sample cars were driven inside the facility for convenient inspection. \n\nPricing - I was looking to price 2014 Crosstours and Accords. Classic Honda presented prices within the range I had set for each vehicle. Again, no hard sell. While I do expect negotiations, I also value reasonable pricing that saves me time.\n\nGood Reputation - While I was deciding whether or not I should purchase Earl, two friends offered unsolicited, stellar feedback for this dealership, including the Service Department. Although one can always walk away, it is awesome to know others have had good experiences there also.\n\nOverall, I am pleased with the buying experience. In the end I chose the Accord EX over the Crosstour. So far I've been very happy with Earl even though he is not a hatchback. But we are still in the early stages. I am reserving the final star until after I have taken Earl in for a couple of oil changes and service visits."^^ . . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ .
