. "1"^^ . "I bought a 3 or 4 year old computer in 2013. It was a Dell laptop, basic model, no bells and whistles and it was $350 with tax. Not a bargain but I wanted to support Goodwill and its mission. Also, when I bought it, I asked about what software was included, I need MicroSoft Office for work. They said they had an agreement to load all computers with LibreOffice, which does the same thing (and it does). \n\nTwo months ago the charger/plug in adapter completely stopped working. I use my laptop for my business so I went to Goodwill. I thought it might be a problem w/ the port itself being loose. The \"technician\" crudely used a screwdriver and I swear made it looser. He found a replacement adapter, used, from their inventory. It was nearly $35, definitely not a bargain.\n\nLess than a month later, this adapter quit working. Again, went to Goodwill and they swapped out the bad adapter for another one, no charge. The same day, I went online and bought a brand new adapter for $10. Good thing, because about a week later the Goodwill adapter died. \n\nThe brand new adapter is working well. I cannot move my computer because the port is indeed loose after the Goodwill technician fiddled with it using a large screwdriver. So once I plug in the adapter, it literally cannot move, which is a kind of a pain.\n\nThe laptop itself has served me well but the next time I need one I will be going elsewhere. And that \"exclusive\" LibreOffice? ANYONE can download it from LibreOffice's web site. It is shareware."^^ . . . "0"^^ . "3"^^ . "0"^^ . "2015-12-28T00:00:00"^^ .
