I was starving after drinking my glass of wine at the bar. I ordered the Grilled Top Sirloin with a 1/2 Rack of Baby Back Ribs. Sides were baked potato (they forgot my sour cream and were so busy I didn't have the heart to ask for it..so that's on me), pecan coleslaw and potato strings (what was I thinking with already having the baked potato?) \n\nAnyway, things arrived and the plate so full I didn't know where to start so move things aside and attempted to cut my steak. It was cold. It was also SO tough it took a number of tries for me to cut it. My husband offered to cut it but I was determined! The one bite I finally got off was tough and chewy. The smoke flavoring overpowered it. So I was done with the steak. I then tried the ribs. The meat fell off the bone and was extremely tender. I did find them tasty but could only eat a couple due to the salt content. Too salty for me. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or if they use a rub, but it was overwhelming. The pecan cole slaw was ok...I expected better. It needs pineapple :) I didn't eat the fries as they were cold by the time I got to them.\n\nThankfully there was plenty of cornbread on the table which was amazing. I wish I would have ordered some to take home. \n\nWould I go back? Yes, but to try some other items like maybe Bob's Salad. Sounds really good. I don't think I could eat the meat again because of the salt and overly smokey flavor. \nThe donuts at the end were evil...so maybe I'd go back for cornbread and donuts with a side salad. lol\n\nMy BIG complaint is our servers when bringing the receipts were really flustered. I had two servers arguing behind me about things being wrong. That is unprofessional and unnecessary around your customers. I held my tongue but it was difficult. If you have problems with your receipts...take it away from your customers to sort it out. I have no problem reiterating what I had and you can ring up a new receipt to get it clear and most people at our table would have felt the same way. Again, DO NOT ARGUE in hearing distance of your customers. It can ruin a nice evening for us.\n\nAnyway, many of the friends with us loved their meal and I know Bobby Q's is a favorite for some. Unfortunately I am not one of them."^^ . "0"^^ . . "2015-11-15T00:00:00"^^ .
