"Japanese Comfort Food\n\nOn a cold night a few weeks ago, I needed some hot soup to warm me up, and this place did it just right. \n\nNow... it's a tiny place... sits like 32 people, I think. And on a cold Saturday night at 6:15pm there was a wait. \nYou walk in... write your name on the clipboard and hang out until one of the staff calls your name.\nOur wait was 35 minutes.\n\nWe were seated at the bar where we could see what our neighbors ordered and check out the action in the kitchen.\n\nThey turn food out quick in this place. We were fed and out the door in like 25 minutes.... and we were NOT rushed at all. At least, I didn't feel rushed. I had a warm tummy full of comfort food so I was a happy camper.\n\nWhat We Ordered:\n* Hot Green Tea - this came in a can. Can't say that I enjoyed it and wouldn't order it again. It tasted 'ok'. Not like what I was expecting, and the can definitely threw me. \n* Tonkotsu Ramen - I thought this was \"creamy\".\n* Tonkotsu-Shoyu Ramen - This was lighter than the Tonkotsu. I'd order this one again.\n\nBoth had lots of noodles, but the broth could be a bit hotter. It was perfect when it was served but cooled fairly quickly... so I guess you have to eat it fast to keep it hot.\n\nAll of the ramens are pretty basic and then you have \"add-ins\" to make your ramen heartier or whatever. I was happy with the basic ramen. I wanted noodles and a comforting broth. I got just that!\n\nPricing is fairly inexpensive.... I mean compared to most sit-down restaurants. Compared to a Pho place... this place is few dollars more but not much."^^ . . "0"^^ . "4"^^ . "2015-01-28T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ . . . "0"^^ .
