I only ever cut my hair 2x/year because I've always had a fear of getting bad haircuts because I've had so many bad experiences. If you want to avoid that, come to this salon. \n\nI truly had the best hair cut experience of my life the first time (and last night) because of everything: they were on time (NO waiting at all), the staff are extremely polite, and the stylists are extremely skilled (I can only vouch for Regina, whom I love). I'm not talking skilled as in just cutting hair well - NEVER in my life has anyone cut my hair to the way I wanted and explained how it would look best with my hair type and my face. The thing is, the communication is the most important part in cutting your hair - and coming to Salon de Elephant really taught me that. Regina is smart, and talented, and kind - she's personable, and polite, and she's down to earth. Most importantly, when you see the staff interacting with each other, you see that they are just as polite and nice to each other - there seems to be a lot of tension at other salons because they are full of drama, I would know... but here, they are kind, and it looks like they are in a very good working environment - that's the best mindset and culture to be in to cut people's hair, right?! \n\nAnyway, like everyone else said - their service is impeccable. There was a new guy that helped me last night - extremely kind, I think it was Jeff? He offered me a warm wet towel (I wasn't offered that last time I came), and some lemon citron tea. Washed my hair and gave me a fantastic massage at the same time. Then Regina asked me how I wanted my hair and all, etc. She cut it, blew dry, styled, and asked me if I needed and tweaks. I needed it thinner because one of the main reasons I cut my hair is cause it gets seriously thick... so she thinned it out more again. And all through this, if you get Regina, she will tell you how to mold cuts to your hair type - not everything works for everyone, but she knows exactly how to modify it to best suit what you would like on your head. Anyway, had a great conversation, she styled it, and then I went to pay. \n\nI don't know if this means much since it's from the company, but two other stylists actually told me my hair looked really good. And this will count: other customers told me it looked good too, and I thought it was pretty amazing, too. I think that my fear of haircuts has been greatly diminished because I've finally found a really wonderful stylist - and a salon that has equally lovely people as well. It's such a great, overall experience that I'm already looking forward to my next haircut! \n\nAt the end, Jeff even helped me put on my jacket. And I may be crazy but he sort of reminds me of the alien guy from that popular Korean drama... my love from star? Handsome and personable. You will want to pay more tips at this place!\n\nThanks for another really great experience, Salon de Elephant! Please keep up the really great service, and keep keeping your staff happy! \n\n\n- Irene"^^ . "1"^^ . "5"^^ . "1"^^ . .
