"Our experience last July was so completly different, with ER treatment, staff, concerns and especially follow-up being so very helpful, that we had no qualms about visiting again last\nmonth. I felt this hospital had finally turned the corner on qualified care for my husband. Dr. Younts (sp?). But, back to usual. Yes, they were extremely busy, but that's what they do-- emergency. They were not up to the task, and it's scary at best. They had another chance the very next day, but were not able to handle this one aspect of my husband's complex needs. There was an especially dismissive remark by a poorly trained but arrogant nurse regarding the visit the day before, as though there was no need for the visit, and completely disregarding the need for him to be seen, treated and tested. They could have called for a consult, or transferred him to another hospital. Instead, we left with nothing resolved, rather escaped, and I took my husband home weak, dehydrated, unmedicated, starved and contracted. Tip: please train your nurses as to the broad points of urinary catheters. This time there was no follow-up by phone or I'm sure there would have been some interest in improving the patient experience when patients are already suffering from total disability and have further need for professional intervention. Sadly, needs not met."^^ . "2"^^ . "1"^^ . "0"^^ .
