"Double dipping and inaccurate coding. \nFirst of all I have been a patient for about five years. \nAfter speaking with Cheryl ( she is my only complaint) in billing yesterday I felt it was urgent to warn others of the lack of integrity and customer service. Cheryl represents Dr. Fry and could care less whether or not I returned as a patient. This is the second issue I have had with her. Her conduct in handling billing disputes is nothing short of HORRIBLE. That said here is my recent experience:\nI was called personally by Dr. Fry's P.A. who I have seen regularly (she is excellent). She said I was due for my annual exam. She had an immediate opening so I was there in 20 minutes. I was reminded by her, as well as the front desk person that the annual is covered by my insurance. Again, I did not call to be seen or treated... The office called me. I had the routine exam including ears. My left looked a little irritated and I said \"probably swimmers ear\" and she agreed. She did write a scrip for me \"just in case\", that i did not need to fill. \nI was billed for treatment because of my ROUTINE annual examination of my ears. Apparently I should not discuss anything with my physician during my annual check up for fear of being charged for treatment. \nI called Cheryl in billing. She was nothing short of argumentative and insistent that I had treatment so the bill was accurate. She had complete disregard for making sure we could resolve it or offer to discuss it with Dr. Fry. I have experienced this before with her and did not pursue it further). I told her I completely disagreed and would reluctantly pay it and be leaving the practice. FYI, they keep your credit card info on file and charge with out a phone call, I have had this happen. Cheryl's response, \" Ok, Thank you\". \nI'm sure my insurance will be interested to know of their double dipping practice. \nI can only hope Dr. Fry reads this review."^^ . . "1"^^ .
