We enjoyed the country store and I bought a charming \"made with love\" spoon rest.  The store is well stocked and is worth the visit by itself. The menu was a nice variety of basic southern style dishes. The best part to me is the large variety of side dishes. I could eat them instead of a meal, especially the mac and cheese and the baked apples. My chicken dumplings were a little heavy on the dough, but the roast beef was tender and the Sunday chicken dinner special was great.
