"Awful experience and no response from the property or the corporate office after 3 weeks.\n\n\nI hate to bother you, but I have sent the below letter to the resort and unfortunately, I never heard back.\n\nI was wondering if you could forward this to someone within your company that would be concerned about the below experience.\n\n\nDear Guest Services:\n\nI enjoy coming to Las Vegas for concerts, fun, gambling, etc.\n\nObviously, there are lots of choices to stay, dine and gamble.\n\nOn Friday night, we planned on attending the Green Day concert for which we purchased tickets months ago.\n\nDue to the proximity of restaurants and gambling to the concert venue, we chose gamble and dine at your hotel.\n\nWe chose the Tap House for our dinner.\n\nThe dinner was great, but I must say, the service was mediocre at best.\n\nLuckily, we built a lot time to dine before the show, as our server disappeared and we waited 20 minutes to get our check. You know, we could have bought a few more drinks also.\n\nBut that is not the reason for the letter.\n\nSince we did have extra time, we decided to play some slots. I will admit we are not big spenders, but we like to play anyway. \n\nWe were playing outside what seemed to be a waitress/bar service area, as there were waitresses going in and out.\n\nWhile playing, we were waiting for a waitress to come take our drink order. However, it was impossible for them to see us as they were not actively and purposely not looking around. Hence it was impossible to see us.\n\nWe waited 20 minutes and I finally asked 3 different waitresses to take our order. We received rude treatment and comments from,\" hold on\", \"you already have a server in your area\", and \"I don't believe your server is not waiting on you\".\n\nNow, there is a difference between poor service and being called a liar.\n\nI really do not appreciate being called a liar, but did not have a chance to talk to someone in charge since we waited so long, and ended up being late for the show. And to be honest, we felt management really wouldn't have cared\n\nI realize that paying penny slots is not where you make your money, and because of this I treat waitresses accordingly. I normally tip big out of the gate, so they know that although I am not a high roller, I still appreciate good service.\n\nWe would not mind giving the MGM and M life chain of hotels another chance. In fact, we headed down to Mandalay Bay after the show and we treated nicely.\n\nBut as this point, we feel like we really are not wanted and are in a quandary of where we should plan are next trip.\n\nPlease let us know if you have any questions."^^ . .
