"My dog was having a hard time getting up and down so we figured we'd have specialists look at her. Dr. Linney (I believe that was his name) said he was going to x-ray our dogs hips. Well he didn't just x-ray them, he told us after the fact that he popped her hips out of joint to see how they popped back in. Our dog couldn't walk and was so confused when we picked her up. He said she needed both hips totally replaced and that the confusion was the anesthetic and she'd be fine. We were given pain meds for her but couldn't get her to eat or drink or take the meds. The next day we took her back in to get a pain shot. Two other vets there looked at her and her x-rays (1 was a surgeon). They said there was nothing wrong with her hips but she needed spinal surgery and that she was still confused because anesthesia hangs on older dogs longer (10 years old). We called another specialist to make an appointment to see our dog and would have to wait 2 weeks but we made the appt. Before that day our dog who had been suffering so much couldn't get up at all. We rushed her to the Emergency Animal Clinic on west Glendale. They said she was critical, got her on oxygen, IV, ran blood work and did an ultrasound. In less than 10 minutes they knew what was wrong with her. She had a large tumor in her abdomen that had been ruptured possibly when they manipulated her hips and she had bled out. The tumor wasn't malignant and if she had been diagnosed properly she could have had surgery and lived. 3 doctors in the same office gave 2 different diagnoses and they were all wrong resulting in the death of my dog. I demanded, and received, my money back but that didn't bring back my dog. Incidentally it cost more for the x-ray at Sonora Veterinary Specialists than for all the emergency treatment, euthanasia and cremation combined at the Emergency Clinic. I didn't want to give any stars but you have to give a rating."^^ . "0"^^ . "2014-06-08T00:00:00"^^ . . . "1"^^ . "3"^^ . . "0"^^ .
