It was our first viewing of this musical play but it brought a smile to my face, a bounce to my knee, and even some tears to my eyes (but only for a moment) when they performed Abraham, Martin and John. The 8 women who composed the cast did an amazing job, individually and as an ensemble.\n\nIf you are not familiar with play, as I was not, google it and you will find various reviews and stories. The original cast recording is still available on Apple, but that is neither her nor there. The cast at LVLT hit their notes, danced the 60s dances and just brought warmth to my heart. Director and Choreographer, Wayne Worley and Hallie Lyons had their cast well primed to perform and it was a non stop frolic for the almost 2 hour performance. As I left, I wish that there was a way to have a recording of what I just saw. I would watch it again and again.\n\nStaging, lighting and costumes were just perfect. It is hard to imagine that a local theater group can assemble such fine talent, outfit them in appropriate costumes and glitter and deliver such a class performance. Thursday night's performance was sold out. This show lasts until July 30th; so if you can get a ticket, do it! My wife and I found it fun, uplifting and impressive.\n\nIf you cannot get tickets to this show, I highly recommend you get tickets to one of the shows or performances for the main theater or it's \"Blackbox Theater\" for the 2017-18 season. The lineup is an interesting variety of shows and we are now planning to get front seat tickets for at least 2 or 3 during the season. Get your ticket soon. Based on our experience last night, you cannot lose by investing in at least one show and seeing for yourself the fine performance that this Las Vegas theater group can present!"^^ . "0"^^ . . .
