"we have purchased pets and pet supplies from this store.\n\na year ago we got my daughter two gerbils, both 3 months old and sisters. the people working were very helpful with assisting us in choosing a quality cage, supplies, etc. but it was clear they weren't exactly experts on the matter (not their fault, I can't imagine they are paid anything too great, but they clearly did the very best that they could)\n\nthey were friendly to and talked to my 5 year old daughter. this might not sound too big of a deal, but I can't tell you how many times my chatterbox has tried to have a conversation with employees of other businesses and they flat out ignore her or interrupt her, etc. \n\nrecently we got a dog from the humane animal rescue. so we came here to buy dog food, make a name tag, etc. we were able to find everything we needed, and their prices were typically the same as other stores. \n\nthe name tag machine worked great and wasn't too expensive. you only have to pay for the tag itself, which is usually around $10.\n\nthe parking situation is great, and there is always a place to park in the shaded parking. \n\nI cannot speak to the quality of the animal hospital or the groomer, as we have never used them.\n\nI do wish that petsmart would change the ways they use employees. I wish they would have individual employees who are heavily trained regarding certain animals. this person is an expert on things regarding rodents, this person is an expert on fish, this person is the expert on cats, etc. I feel like this way every employee wouldn't be scrambled to know small bits about every animal."^^ .
