I didn't even get a chance, though, because both the hostess and the manager decided to give me grief about my service dog. \n\nTo heck with them; I just left and went elsewhere, where I *know* the food is good and they welcome both my dog and me - Silks across the street. \n\nI'm fed up with having to still educate businesses about the law who should know better by now. Which most other businesses around here obviously do know at this point. No one should have to run this kind of obnoxious course just to get a bite to eat. \n\nThey were at least pretty polite, but you know, it doesn't make a paying customer feel the least bit welcome when we have to meet people literally physically blocking the path into the business, confronting us, demanding documentation and have to educate them about why we have to be allowed the same rights to eat there as anyone else - and specifically why no documentation or special garb is required, and why it's illegal to ask for it or require it. \n\nBut after the hostess took off to find the manager because she didn't know the law, suddenly she became an expert and started trying to tell me what was required and what was not."^^ . .
