"0"^^ . "I honestly do not even think this place deserves the one star. My boyfriend gave me a groupon to this salon as part of a present. I was excited for my treatment. When I got to the salon, I pushed the door open expecting it to be heavier than it was. It opened easily, but the bells on the door clanged quite loudly. I felt bad for creating the noise and said \"sorry\". All I received was a \"death glare\" from one of the aestheticians and no acknowledgement of my apology. Then I stood at the front desk and no one payed attention to me for several minutes. I was beginning to feel annoyed, but then one lady showed up and told me to sit down. I had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time because they did not schedule their clients properly. Finally, they sat me in the pedicure chair, where again, I waited for a while as the aesthetician was attending to another lady. The woman who did my nails, did not smile, barely looked at me at all and did not interact with me. Wow. I felt like I was there to serve these women, not the other way around. Shocked and appalled that such a poorly run and seemingly self-oriented salon is running like this. No wonder they are offering deals on Groupon. They probably find it hard to retain regular customers. If anyone from Manila Salon is reading this, please seriously consider the numerous bad reviews your salon is receiving and take action to improve it. Instead it appears that some members of the salon or perhaps friends of the salon owners have attempted to \"boost\" this salon's image by posting fake positive posts (however, interestingly I no longer see these posts, perhaps they took them down). I will definitely not be returning to this salon and will be telling others to stay away. As other reviewers have mentioned, I felt that the hygiene at this salon was questionable and I do not recall seeing the aesthetician clean the tools she used between clients. I thought that someone who worked there might have been courteous enough to offer me an apology for making me wait so long for my appointment, however, that was not the case.
