This company is by far, one of the worse painting contractors I've ever dealt with. I think the contractor found these supposed painters in the Home Depot parking lot.\nIt is my opinion, the painters they hire to do the work are subcontractors, who do the work at a discounted rate. It has been my experience of late, that hiring any contractor, this practice of subbing out their work is becoming more common place. The painters claimed they prepped the walls by water blasting, but I pointed out cobwebs in the corner of one wall, and a birds nest between one of the rafters, and they said they couldn't reach those areas. I had to physically supervise this crew every day on the job. The contractor was not there to supervise them. They missed a wall off one of the roof lines that I pointed out to them, and they corrected the oversight. They also painted over the roof clay tiles just above the roof line and the contractor had to buy clay color paint to correct the error. I also hired them to refinish and varnish eight wooden office and bathroom doors. They had no idea what they were doing and I had to hire another painter to finish the job. They were also instructed to patch a few holes in the sheetrock, which two of the repairs I had to remove the patch and re-do it myself. I deducted money from the final payment I made to them. \nIn fairness to the contractor, he did try to correct the issues I brought to his attention, but the workmanship was subpar, and these painters were not in the least bit detailed oriented. Recently I found another wall they missed that was off one of the roof tops. Judging by the other reviews, it's a hit or miss with Chuparosa Painting."^^ . "2"^^ .
